About Us

Tuppers Plains Chester Water District was created December 31, 1966. We are a Non-Profit Government Entity of Ohio formed under section 6119 of the Ohio Revised Code. The District is governed by a five-member board of directors elected by the customers, and each serve a three year term. We serve a population of approximately 14,000 people with more than 600 miles of water line installed to 5600 homes in Meigs and Athens Counties. There are 21 water tanks with a total capacity of over 3.1 million gallons of water. There are six water wells with an average production of 1.2 million gallons per day.  The District has 14 full time employees.  The District provides 24/7 support year round.
