Water Leaks

Leaks can occur on any water connection past the water meter.  The five most common causes for higher water consumption are toilets, frost free hydrants, service line connections, livestock waterers, and dishwashers.

The Neptune Meter shown below has a leak indicator located at the bottom right hand corner.  If water is moving through the meter, the red hand will be moving.  If water is not being actively used in the residence, this red dial should not be moving.
